Coach Zanone and the Alpharetta Lacrosse Club provides experienced coaches to lead both the high school and youth teams throughout the year.  These coaches bring to the program experience playing at elite levels, yet also have a passion for growing the game and teaching our players. All program coaches played Division I or Division III college lacrosse and will be alternating throughout the calendar year between high school and youth levels.

ZACH ZANONE | Alpharetta High School Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach

Coach Zanone is originally from Stony Brook, New York, where he attended Ward Melville High School as a three-year starter on the football and lacrosse team. Coach Zanone went on to play lacrosse at the State University of New York (SUNY), in Cortland. Upon graduation, Coach Zanone returned to Ward Melville High School where he served as a varsity defensive assistant with the football team and as the head junior varsity coach for the lacrosse team.

Coach Zanone is the Alpharetta High School varsity men's lacrosse head coach and director of the Alpharetta Lacrosse Club. Coach Zanone is also currently a special education teacher at Alpharetta High School. 

BEN NATELSON | Junior Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Natelson came to the Alpharetta High School men's lacrosse team in 2015 as a varsity assistant coach. He has also coached Alpharetta’s Dive team and Volleyball program. Coach Natelson played Rugby in college and was captain of the Emory Eagles from 1999 to 2001.  

CHRIS INNIS | Junior Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Innis is originally from Baltimore, MD and has played lacrosse since the age of 4. He attended Hereford High School in Parkton, MD where he played mostly attack, as well as some midfield. Coach Innis graduated from Hereford High School in 2012 and went on to attend The University of Georgia, where he majored in Biology and later picked up a second major in Science Education. Upon graduation, he was employed at Alpharetta High School, teaching Biology and Earth Systems, and served as the head JV lacrosse coach and varsity assistant. Coach Innis currently teaches Earth Systems and Environmental Science and continues to coach both JV and varsity lacrosse.

MIKE HART | Varsity Assistant Coach

Coach Hart is originally from Cornelius, North Carolina, where he attended Hopewell High School and Hough High School where he was a four-year varsity midfielder. Coach Hart went on to play at State University of New York (SUNY),  Cortland where he earned All-American honors his senior year. After graduation, Coach Hart coached travel programs throughout the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.
